  • For those of you who did the job as originally instructed including the rainforest's worth of coupons what do you reckon our chances are of being paid? I'll happily go back and do them again but annoyed I've already spent fifteen minutes in them all already.

First I knew of the change was when I got the snotty input your results email :(

I can't believe they didn't email or call to let us know the brief had changed last minute. Any other company would have no matter how stressed out they were doing the changes. I had all of mine disappear then reappear (which was really handy since one of them I was next door to in between them disappearing and reappearing so thought they'd been cancelled and didn't go!) and when they reappeared I thought it was just a glitch with their useless website

Really not amused - have decided I want paying for the incorrectly done ones and the revisits or they can go forth and multiply :D

I expect to get paid. I've done a visit and a report. I didn't realise the briefing had changed until I read this forum. I did wonder when I was doing the questionnaire but I re-checked the briefing I had printed and made sure I put in the comments that I had followed the briefing. Their mistake, not mine.

Got one left to do today, so after the shambles yesterday I now don't know what I'm supposed to be doing! Fortunately this one is only down the road so it wont involve a 40 mile trip if it's wrong
  • They usually ask if you would like a drink with the order. It then comes as a meal deal. Because THEY have suggested the meal deal it is allowed, because you haven`t requested it. Just mention it at the end of the report.
It's usually a pizza and a side order. The drink is optional.

The briefing notes usually say you SHOULDNT order a meal deal, but if the person on the phone offers a meal deal (usually means you get a pizza and 2 side dishes for cheaper than the pizza & one side), I usually accept and then put in the notes that it would have seemed odd to decline and say I wanted to pay more for less food! Never been queried and always been paid.

I've got a phone-in, carry-out one of these coming up, and my briefing notes don't say you shouldn't get a meal deal and they do specify a drink as one of the three things you should order. Except then there's barely any mention of the drink in the questionnaire, so maybe you don't actually need it. *is confused*
I'm broke, not poor. Poor sounds permanent, broke can be fixed. (Thoroughly Modern Millie)

Angel - I order the separate items per the briefing (mine have always included a drink). When I get the receipt, I usually find it has been keyed in as a meal deal. I tick the box on the questionnaire that I received a meal deal. So far, no problems and have done quite a few.

Yep done them for RE- easy peasy
This job is for ESA, I presume it won't be a lot different, I was just a bit worried about the mention of not being able to complete the job due to the presence of bereaved families. I wondered if it may be a little difficult for me for my first job with ESA.

I've done several of these - I have twice visited when families were there but all that really means is that they will be visiting the chapel/viewing rooms. You will be chatting to a staff member in reception at first and later, you will be shown around the premises. They will avoid taking you into any areas where there are 'families' so you don't have to worry about that. You might just note on the comments box which areas you couldn't look at and why.

The visits are straightforward and reasonably comfortable to do.
