My dress was £498, reduced from £1800, how chuffed was I!!

spent £100 on my shoes and £42 on head dress.

My mum has kindly paid for most of my dress. The original budget was £300 for everything, I only owned up to the dress costing £400 :rotfl:

had only planned to spend about £200 on my dress but ended up spending £600 although that was £300 quid less than the asking price and it's brand new, not out of the plastic bag it arrived in, no alterations done yet though.

but if it's anything like the bridesmaid dress that got for my sisters wedding that shouldn't be alot (some taking in of the sides around the bust and adding an alteration that will allow me to put up the back) probably. i just have to get a good pair of shoes so i don't trip over the bottom lol

Mine is £620... plus alterations. My lovely in-laws-to-be have paid for half of it though.

I had planned on getting 2 dresses (one for the ceremony, one for the party!) and spending no more than £400 on both.... oh dear! I'm only having the one dress now! :o
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Mine was £300. Should have been £2900 but it was an unworn sample.
