I paid £125 for my dress and will be spending a further £50ish on alterations.

Mine was £900 new, I saw it as a sample for sale at £500 and then haggled it down to £300!! Still to pay for alterations etc.:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:0

I'd like to get it under £250 - will either get a high street dress, one of ebay/preloved etc, or get my friend to make it for me.
As much as the dress is important, I just can't justify spending so much on something I'll wear once.
The most expensive dress in my wardrobe is £50!0 -
