Driving instructor - can we repot him?

I thought the latest you could change your test was 7 days before the test?[STRIKE]Seventeen[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Eighteen[/STRIKE] Nineteen(!) year old student - dim at the best of times0

That's hit the nail on the head with another point I would have brought up had the thread taken a different tone. Most instructors have a cancellation notice period of 48 hours in their terms and conditions. Some have 24, some don't even enforce that. 9 days is far more notice than in any contract I've ever seen, so it's unlikely there is any breach whatsoever. This is why I'm flabberghasted that someone is threatening to "report him". For what? No offence has been committed. To me, that's like phoning the police to tell them your window cleaner left a smear on your window.property.advert wrote: »I'd also say there may be breach of contract as well !
If you feel that strongly about the issue, vote with your feet and don't use that instructor again (there's your token "consumer revenge" bit), but there are absolutely no grounds whatsoever for reporting him to the DSA.
As another poster put it:As for reporting the first DI, I think that's quite childish considering he's given you plenty of notice.0
