Reusing Special Delivery Bags - Rant

Gleeful
Has anyone else had problems doing this? I sent a parcel last week in a reused Special Delivery bag (I like to recycle where possible) and the post office didn't bat an eyelid. I made sure I put brown parcel tape over the Special Delivery logo, etc. I tried to send another today and the SAME post office refused it saying it 'confuses the postman'!!!!
So I had to buy a jiffy bag
Is it just me who had this problem? So much for recycling!

Big silver bag looking like a special delivery. With the speed the poor posties are supposed to sort out the stuff I can actualyl see why this might be confusing.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Well there was that, but since the same lady gave me back another letter I was sending that only contained 2 sheets of paper and told me to put it on the scales to weigh it, I'm not sure she'd have understood my humour.0 -

Without the SD labels and covered in packing tape? I think it's a poor do, what would they say if I sent it in a grey plastic bag that wasn't an SD bag?0 -
post workers have their SOH removed at induction, didnt you know
same with Drs receptionists:D0 -
"I like to recycle where possible". Yet you covered it in packing tape. A real eco warrior.0
