I was beginning to get a bit worried about this DPF thingy - thanks for clarifying and Yes its through a Proton Dealership, also a family run business and is opposite OH work, so I warned the sales manager that if anything went wrong we would hound him!

DPF issues are usually with cars that do a lot of short journeys
the DPF needs good long drives to let it heat and regenerate

orlao posted that his model is the same as the one we are thinking about getting and it doesnt have a DPF - hope this is correct.

I'd rather have the Citroen than the Hyundai to be honest, and a straight swap isn't bad either.
