I think he's just said he can't write, as his finger is recovering from infection. i.e. He's typing his CV at present, because he can't presently write.
I sincerely doubt his finger problem, nor his joblessness is in anyway connected to his IQ.All over the place, from the popular culture to the propaganda system, there is constant pressure to make people feel that they are helpless, that the only role they can have is to ratify decisions and to consume.0 -
As someone who having surgery on Tuesday to her hand and has severe RA in that hand I cant see how having a finger infection can stop you writting, wicklows dont hamper writing.
it can when you cant hold a pen with that finger
i can write but because i have to hold a pen different to the way ive been holding one my entire life my writing has become messy0 -

You can't be for real surely? You say that you can't stand for long periods of time due to your Knees, fair enough.
You can't write because you have a bad finger, so how do you expect to do a till job or data entry then?
How can you possibly be claiming jobseekers allowance-it's for people who are actively seeking work. Not people who are actively avoiding work!
Makes me sick it really does..0 -

you know where you have to go in once a week for 6 weeks?
got a letter for an appointment this morning, doesnt say what the appointments for so im just wondering if its the 13 week thing or its for new deal
i dont think its new deal as i havnt been on JSA long enough
also if i ask them do you think they would give my partner an interview at the same time, its just that its on the same day we sign on but its in the morning (and we sign in the afternoon) it says on the letter that if i sign the same day i only need to come in that one time but we would end up having to go to town twice as my partner would still have to sign in the afternoon
i think it depends whether you are in an area that has flexible new deal or the old new deal. i dont think they have the 6 week thing in fnd areas. if you are in a fnd area the 13 week appointment will be were there are a load of you in a room. you get lectured about what you need to do while jobseeking. it lasted for about 45 minutes when i did it.0
