do they still do

that 13 week thing when you are on JSA

you know where you have to go in once a week for 6 weeks?

got a letter for an appointment this morning, doesnt say what the appointments for so im just wondering if its the 13 week thing or its for new deal

i dont think its new deal as i havnt been on JSA long enough

also if i ask them do you think they would give my partner an interview at the same time, its just that its on the same day we sign on but its in the morning (and we sign in the afternoon) it says on the letter that if i sign the same day i only need to come in that one time but we would end up having to go to town twice as my partner would still have to sign in the afternoon

you could get to the jobcentre in the morning, go for your interview, then use the time between your partner signing on and the interview to apply for jobs, perhaps taking a break at a nearby cafe to have a cup of tea.

    hth.
someone i know is safe and snug and they're drifting off to sleep. round and round a little boat, no bigger than your hand, out on the ocean far away from land, take the little sail down. light the little light. this is the way to the garden in the night...

I think they scrapped the every week thing due to understaffing. After 13 weeks I just had to continue going in once a fortnight with a once monthly meeting with an advisor.

I dont think they will accommodate you so you can go with your partner (at least I wouldnt expect so).

its funny that they treat you like a couple when it suits them and like a single when it suits them lol

Oh my God, how are you going to cope with an appointment that is just for you?

Will you be OK without your OH next to your side for 10 minutes??

Its to discuss what you have done to look for work as well as anything they can help you with. Also to go through your conditions and review them as they feel necessary and to give you details of jobs that they think suit you. You have to add another 3 (I think) job criteria to your list.
