Evening all
Happy birthday esmf73 - hope your day was good
Jet77 - thanks re my signature, it's a saying that I discovered whilst doing Camp America in 2008, and coincidentally it is on the wall in my office in my youth work job too!
The day flew by in work. My colleague had to take his son to doctors this morning (unplanned) so I had to hold the fort and do his admin day with 6 young people who are starting our course next week. So I didn't get much of my work done! Then this afternoon I went to watch another group's presentation as they needed bums on seats!
My dinner with girls was cancelled as one of them is illso I got a pizza from Morrisons to have instead as we were going for pizza and I have huge craving for it now!
I keep thinking it's Tuesday not Wednesday, which is confusing me slightly!
Have a good evening all

Happy Birthday Cranky and Esmf - Hope you are having great days.
Been drisly here all day, walked home in the rain but it was still warm. Got my Body Shop Order delivered today (50% off) so that's a load of christmas presents bought already. Workmates think I'm mad but come christmas I'll be laughing I hope!!
DS2 got a 2:1!! I think I am the proudest Mum in the world today. He has put so much effort into this degree and I am so happy that he's done it.
Ouch JackieG, that sounds very sore - you get the HA!
Best wishes to everyone, may have to have a glass of the old vino to celebrate tonight!0 -
Well done to Camelot's
boy!
Are we allowed to ask what his degree is?
Enjoy your celebrations, that's great news! It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0 -

I am aiming for 2000 posts by the end of the week. Expect more mindless drivel from me. I might actually post some recipes, or something else equally useful. It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0

Would you like some help?0 -
That's mighty kind of you, thanks, although I think I'll annoy the regulars if I fill up the thread with my ramblings. May go over to the families board and voice my opinion on one or two things, feel free to engage me whenever we bump into one another! It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0

Sorry, in my excitement forgot to say that his degree is in Marine Biology. He is now well qualified to be a beach bum watching for fish!!0

Oh how interesting, although I could never do that, I can't go in the sea because the thought of things brushing against me makes me all queasy, having said that, I am the woman who made the midwife wipe DS1 before putting him on me as I couldn't stand the thought of "slimey stuff":o:rotfl::rotfl:HAd he got a job lined up, or work experience? It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0
