so i thought i'd set up a facebook account. god knows why. unfortunately the site is really poorly made and seems to only be inclusive of people with mobile phones since without one there's no way to verify your account. this can't be right, surely?

When I set up my account they sent you an email with a link to click on to verify your account?
Maybe they have changed it but that doesn't sound right to me.I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

In order to post comments and respond to things on facebook (without which the whole thing seems to be a giant waste of time) you need to verify your account. In order to do that you need a mobile phone because it asks you to input your phone number to send you a confirmation code via text.
I only found this out after creating an account and trying to post some comments to messaged i'd received linked to the music I like. It doesn't even ask you to put in or share a mobile number on your account, or tell you that one is necesary in order to properly use facebook.0 -
