I've flicked the switch to put the heating on for an hour, but last time I tried it the heating didn't work.
We don't have any other form of heating.

I'm very tempted & I'm in the south east!!!
Seems so wrong in early September.0 -
after being cold all day i finally gave in, and put the heating on for an hour tonightenjoy life, we only get one chance at it:)0

I haven't
But the main reason for that is that I have spent most of the afternoon/evening at the hospital with DH.
Will absolutely not put my heating on in September!!! its just soooo wrong!:)Do more of what makes you happy:)0 -
had to stop my brother putting the heating on yesterday. he was cold apparently (possibly somthing to do with the fact he was wearing a pair of shorts and a tee-shirt) once he changed to jeans and put a jumper on there was no need for the heating!! although i did notice that in the evening the house (mid terrace) spontaniously warmed up;) obviously my neighbours had turned their heating on - coming through my walls - very mse - absorbing nieghbours heat!!:rotfl::rotfl:Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. Have got the log burner going and it's all nice and toasty. All the better because we got the wood freeCos I don't shine if you don't shine.0

Toasty fleece throw from £stretcher saving me from the heating right now. Will buy a couple more as don't really want to cling to the kids for the whole winter!0

No not yet. It was a bit chillier when I had my shower this morning but despite being very very very wet I've had short sleeves on all day, as has my toddler. Only my 8 week old baby girl was well wrapped up but since she can't move shes more likely to get cold.
Am in the Midlands - was it supposed to be cold here today? Or is it my post pregnancy winter padding keeping me warm LOL!
Mind you was looking into getting a thermal vest for myself and my son this year. Being on mat leave I can't afford to have the heating on all day during the winter months and plus I dont think it's healthy for the kids.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks
