Forgot to say... OP did you not get any instructions with the plants?

If you did then how can you have treated the plants so differently from what they said?

I must have struck lucky with my 2 orders this year. Most stuff appears to be coming along nicely, though still waiting for some pineapple lilys to show themselves.

Thanks for that, I will definately stay away from them too. I have to say that I ordered plug plant fushias for my dads hanging basket for his birthday last month from Suttons. I got 10 mixed giant fushias and 5 of another giant spray fushias. The first lot that arrived, the 10, about 3 of those were no good but virtually all of the 5 ones that I got were dead on arrival. Dad tried to perk them up a bit but no good and no real root growth either. So I called Suttons and they immediatly said that they would send some replacements. Sadly the replacements weren't that great either but hey ho.
Suttons were good at replacing but not the best plants but to send out rubbish and not even replace is awful. I most certainly won't be going there, if they can't guarantee quality or replace is not up to scratch then they can't have my business.

I can agree that fothergills have excellent customer services Suttons have been good too, T&M will do the job eventually but will take their time doing it unless you sign up to thier facebook page and write your complaint in public , funnily enough you get a same day responce if you follow this route.
J.Parker will respond within 2 days if its a sales request, so far its over 8 days for customer services for a damaged delivery so far on par with T&M but I will keep you updated
i found that with T&M i emailed nothing called no help but post a message on facebook and its got all sorted today funny that lol

I'm glad I stumbled on this thread, I've never bought plants frome this company but have from T+M and Suttons, I bought some garlic bulbs from 1 of the company's I mentiones think it was Suttons, they arrived and some not all were soft, when I rang they sent out a replacement but some of the replacement were soft, they gave me a refund although they were willing to send out another lot of replacements, but I couldn't be bothered, by the time I'd sorted the good from the bad I had enough cloves.

All the rest of the plants and bulbs I've had have been brilliant and I'm not the most careful of plants people, I usually get them from QVC or GW magazine, from reading this I guess I've been lucky.

well I finally got a reponce from them the original order had several damaged plants as they were not packaged correctly, they are replacing the whole order so apart from them taking longer than they should have to respond to my email. they are in this case doing what is expected so they have dealt with me fairly lets just hope they can do the same with you

Was just about to send Parkers an email complaining that none of the agapanthus I ordered last year have grown. Lots of the other plants like daffs, honeysuckle etc have survived but the main reason for ordering was for the agapanthus. Will let you all know how I get on.
