  • Still some items available instore, if you're looking for an odd chair etc...

AND......a few bargains to be had on 'ex-display' garden furniture.
Managed to get a Canterbury Bench for £25.00 - absolutely brand new as it was on an elevated display - just needed an allen key key to dismantle.

Also, check out any BBQ's they might have left....as these are also going really cheap.

Finally - not many left, but most hanging baskets are reduced to £1 and brackets are 50p..........stock up for next year !

Still only 1/3 off at my local store... but still some stock of garden furniture on the shelves.

Anyone know if these things are decided locally by individual store managers or if I chance trying to put these things through the till they might come up at the much lower prices???
Ah! Good old trusty beer... I hope you never change.
  • Anyone know whether the Plymouth stores have started reductions on BBQ's
    Regards

BigAde - It would appear that the huge reduction are in the larger B&Q Warehouses only, BUT do ask for any item to be scanned for the correct price.

Some items that I've purchased have scanned at the lower prices whilst others have scanned higher, BUT have had a Final Reduction 'hand written' price sticker on. The price adjustment is then corrected manually at the till. Best bet is to ask if you're in any doubt.

Not sure about B&Q but Chaplins have 50% off the marked prices on their BBQs. They have a gas BBQ with a big sign that says WAS £79.99 NOW £39.99. Not sure if the final price is £39.99 or £19.99 (Assuming another 50% discount)
    Matched betting profits since 11/10/06 = £1,554
  • ...... love it or hate it, I saw these for £60 in the B&Q at castle point today, red only.
    HERE.
Matching patio heater, can't remember the price, though cheaper than the website. Again, only in red.
    HERE.
  • Just want to say thank you really... after reading about B&Q outdoor bargains, i went to have a look at the one in Purley.. didn't think will get anything as it's quite late after the start of reductions but bought a children wooden swing seat reduced from 55 to 10 pounds... we've only got a little garden but couldn't walk away empty handed!!!...
So thanks for bringing it to my attention...
They also had the wooden horses seesaw reduced to 5gbp... and they had loads....

There were square wooden sand pits, either 12.00 or 14.00 (??), trampolines and covers, water chutes and other water toys that I can remember. I didn't check the prices on these as my boys are teenagers, but the prices on the things I did see were very heavily reduced.
