I just bought a 8ft trampolin from B&Q. the sale price was 63, however when they realised that i was not interested since there was no net available. they gave me a discount of 50%, i.e got it at 30 pounds. Need to find a net, with rods. Any idea where can i find it

Hi, Could you tell me if your trampoline was in 2 boxes, if so were the boxes charged individually? I went into my local B & Q today and went to buy, what I thought was a bargin, 12ft trampoline for £48.50 but when I got to the till they scanned both boxes at £48.50 each. I argued that the pricing was very missleading! Who would want only half a trampoline, they should state the price of the full item!

By the way, Doncaster B & Q had the 8ft net enclosure but I didn't nottice how much they were, sorry!

  • Quick update from original post:-

It would appear that the major reductions are in the larger B&Q warehouses only (at present).

Told a friend about the reduced garden furniture last night and today we went to 3 local stores - all 3 are 'larger' B&Q's. (Check B&Q website for location details).

Managed to get my Mum the Canterbury Bistro set (2 chairs and a small table) for £35 - reduced from £150 and my friend purchased the Canterbury gateleg table and 4 folding chairs for £232 - originally £700 !!!!

We did notice though that some of the prices appeared to differ from store to store - just make sure you get the item scanned to check the correct price. In one store they had reduced all the garden furniture cushions to £1 each - assistant said that they had to make room for Christmas Decorations !!!! :rotfl:

Do also check out the prices for BBQ's, as the Winchester Hooded 3 burner Gas BBQ was selling for £70, down from £200 - others were also reduced !

In addition - display items (BBQ's and garden furniture) were being sold at silly prices..........just ask to speak to the Manager.
Some days you're the bird......and some days you're the statue

That has happened SO MANY TIMES. Next time I'm at work (I work at the damn place) I'll put a sign up. ;-)

thanks for that. my Son has been looking for a good quality table and chairs for a while and managed to get some for £130 which were originally £410 so a good bargain. Prices in Reading weren't reduced quite as much as your store but still a good price.

they have a Canterbury garden swinging seat for £100 if anyone is interested (as at 20 mins ago )

Swing set is £199 as they sell it in 2 packs, you have to buy each pack for £99 each
