Went into B&Q today and they had reduced virtually all of the garden furniture AGAIN.
All the signs instore state that there is currently a 1/3 off, BUT these reduced prices had been reduced again by 50, 60 and 70%.
For example, the Canterbury Round Gateleg Table (really good quality - Roble Hardwood) had been reduced from £299.99 to £99.99! Folding Canterbury armchairs to match were reduced from £99.99 each to £33!
I decided to go for the Milan Teak Folding table, reduced from £199.99 to £24.99 - couldn't work out how they got to that price. I think the Milan range has been discontinued. The matching folding chairs come in packs of 2 and were £25.99.
Other ranges reduced that I noticed were the Winchester and Monaco ranges.
Prices on-line are still only 1/3 off, so check out your local B&Q as the sales assistant told me that although this was nationwide it would probably not be advertised. Obviously dont know how true that is..............?
(Just in case anyone thinks I've taken this from another forum, I've also posted this on HotUKDeals as well.)

thanks for that. my Son has been looking for a good quality table and chairs for a while and managed to get some for £130 which were originally £410 so a good bargain. Prices in Reading weren't reduced quite as much as your store but still a good price.
they have a Canterbury garden swinging seat for £100 if anyone is interested (as at 20 mins ago )0 -
Just got back from B&Q Yeading, they have the same fantastic bargains in garden stuff. I got a childrens horse bench reduced from £25.33 to a fiver ! and a pop up post office/shop for the kids reduced from £21 to a fiver as well. Things were selling very fast so be quick. (I noticed an 8 foot pool reduced from £50.00 to a fiver as well) :T :T :TEducation is compulsory, school is not.

Thanks OP and Scaldyflash :T
Just back from B&Q Yeading. I picked up a Monaco Hammock for £19.98, 2 x seat pads for my bargain bench from Homebase the other day £3.96 plus a grill basket for the BBQ £1.98.
I also picked up the 8ft pool, but the price came up at £25.17 so put it back. The 10ft pool was £50.
Still lots there.
Thanks again.:beer:Thank you to all posters:beer:

:T Thank you so so much for this tip.
I managed to get 2 Monaco Console tables 1 was down from £39.99 to £9.98 and the other had a slight (1 inch) scratch but it's barely noticable and can be polished out so it was marked up at £5 :j
I'd been wanting them for ages to make my sqaure table into a larger oval but at nearly £80 it was too much so am absolutely thrilled
Thank you

My store was the same. But first, the most asked question:
Q "Is anything worn under your kilt???"
A "No. Everything is in perfect working order Thank You!!."0 -
Did you get the prices checked?
They were marked as 1/3 off in mine (Gloucester) but scanned as cheaper.

I just bought a 8ft trampolin from B&Q. the sale price was 63, however when they realised that i was not interested since there was no net available. they gave me a discount of 50%, i.e got it at 30 pounds. Need to find a net, with rods. Any idea where can i find it0

Just a quick update:-
Did you ask them to check the prices for you?
I went to 2 different B&Q's today and both were still only advertising 1/3rd off. At the 1st shop the assistant told me that nothing had been reduced any further. He refused to check the prices - but they didn't have what I wanted anyway.
I then travelled to a different store and again asked for the prices to be checked. The guy there was extremely helpful and despite the fact that he stated nothing had been reduced, he still was willing to help. Anyway we went to the till, armed with a B&Q Garden brochure and proceeded to check various prices. He was absolutely amazed that basically everything had gone down again.
Admittedly items weren't as cheap as the £24.99 Milan table that I had bought (it scanned at £49.99), but I still managed to get an additional 2 Milan folding armchairs for £19.99 - down from £69.98 !
Most people were looking but just passing by, as it would appear that all the prices on B&Q furniture are incorrect - best bet is to grab a garden brochure, take it to the customer services till and get them to check !Some days you're the bird......and some days you're the statue :cool:0
