To be entirely honest Cardew I don't spend that much time thinking about it, the rules of the board aren't being broken, if they were the post would be deleted. I can't even remember Operastar's posts! I don't know why Carmine would assume another identity, why not keep posting as himself?

And I thought these boards weren't moderated, so who should I ask? Have you asked them youself seeing as your doing the accusing?

As a Utility Warehouse independent distributor I earn money from signing people up to the utilities they offer. I acknowledge that many people who use the internet will be able to find electricity and gas at a lower price. However, I make best use use of the pre payment card, and because of this I get my utilities at a cost that, as yet, has not matched by any combination of other companies. Therefore I earn money from the company and save money too. I am happy with what I have got and therefore others in similar circumstances will also be able to get that same best value.

Utility Warehouse occasionally messes up. So do all the other companies out there. My experience is that given the chance, Utility Warehouse will make things right in the end. The detractors here try and make out that the company, its employees and independent distributors are the spawn of the devil. One or two may be but I have found the vast majority to be honest people who want to do right by the customer. Even if it's for the purely selfish reason that a happy customer is more likely to give referrals than an unhappy one. Word of mouth advertising is very powerful and comparatively cheap. As I've said, independent distributors make money from customers. This means that the customer can ask their personal rep for help if they do not get satisfaction from the company in the event of a problem. The rep has a vested interest in making sure that their customer is happy. IMHO, anybody who thinks that Utility Warehouse or reps would fob customers off rather than make a profit from them is just plain wrong.

I am an independent distributor with Utility Warehouse and the views I express may not be shared by the company.

NigeWick elsewhere on the net complains to other uw reps discussing uw cs that he has experienced some "atrocious" customer service from uw, which is at odds with his latest glowing testimonial he has put up for our "benefit"!

Did you actually read Nige's post, or did you read what you wanted to? He does say that UW get it wrong like all companies do, how is that a "glowing testimonial?"

What he says on other web-sites (are you stalking him across the net as well?) has no relevance to what he posts here, he isn't breaking the rules, and is entitled to his own opinion, just as anybody else. Do you actually realise what it looks like when you quote poster's from other web-sites? (Is this even allowed, do MSE know that you follow posters around and quote them on here?)

Of course it's relevant.

This thread isn't provided so that uw reps can use it purely for promotional spam.

Nigewick repeatedly uses this thread to promote UW (who he works for).

It is in everyone's interests to realise that he has a dual personality over this - telling us the "happy" side of things (ie toeing the company line), yet in truth using a word like "atrocious" to describe his true opinion of them when discussing his company elsewhere on the net.

The other heavy clue that blunty could be a uw rep is his use of unnecessary personal abuse.

This seems to be the norm when I ask Quentin about the alternative to the UW cash card - diversionary tactics.

Quentin, is the alternative so bad that you just can't bring yourself to discuss it with the group? You keep calling us 'gullible' and 'busy fools' so surely in the spirit of the turn of the decade you can find it in your heart to help us become a clever & lazy fool like you? (if that is indeed how you would wish to be known, of course). Thanking you in advance of your kind action.

Are UW an independant provider for fuels or do they piggy back? Do UW charge if your a IGT customer?
