It's undoubtedly a great deal - if you can get it, if you are happy with a min 12 month tie-in and if you need that level of mobile use, of course. Oh, and if a speed cap of 4mb max. doesn't bother you.0

Hilarious!
Utility warehouse's energy price promise excludes "anyone on a Fix, Cap, Online, Prepay, or other promo tariff" ie all cheap ones
and...............
They're included in comparison sites for energy, people just don't see them as they're quite low down!
Guess who said this? I know but I couldn't possibly comment! That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -

I wonder if anyone can help me, I am trying to sign up to the cheap energy club but the gas suppliers only lists telecom plus the utility warehouse and then the tariffs are not what I am on with utility warehouse.
I'd really like to sign up to this club but want to make sure I am using the correct comparators so wondered can anyone help?0 -
Hello,
I just moved house and, after a quick call to them, I decided to take them on as my provider for everything.
What concerns me, at the moment, is the broadband speed - I am a software developer and an avid gamer - bandwidth and latency are very important to me, especially coming from a place where I was getting real 8 Mbit/s and static IP from O2.
They claim to provide "up to 24 Mbits" and that in my area speed should be "around 10". My old O2 router had problems, so I eventually switched to my old Orange one, which is like 6 years old - with that, using the master phone socket and ethernet cable, I get a dismaying 3.3 Mbit/s in download and 0.5 Mbit/s in upload.
I have ordered a state-of-the-art new router (because I need it anyway, for several reasons) and mailed them about this problem. If the performance won't improve, I will definitely leave them - this is going to be my long-term house, and I will not settle for anything below excellence in performance.
Will keep you posted.0 -
Whats the name of your tarriff, AFAIK they only have three. That gum you like is coming back in style.0

And should you mix and match the tariffs to get the best price (for instance Gas medium tariff and electricity low tariff) many comparison sites tend to add in the £18 annual club fee twice. Moneysupermarket does so i expect so does the MSE energy club.0
