    Such discussion is not forbidden.

It is as clear as it sounds. The activity required is easy to do. But it is also easy not to do, and you will come across a number of people who say "No". It is important that you do not let this disrupt your work and continue on to the next person. Activity is key. It's a business that anyone can do, but it's not for everyone. I think that's enough cliche's for now.

If you gather 3 qualifying customers within your first 90 days, you get your starter fee back. Getting 3 customers in 90 days is easy as pie, if you just follow the steps you are taught on the training day. Everything from that point on is profit.

I have been a distributor for about 18 months now, and whilst I've had my ups and downs and challenges (mostly to do with working through disappointments of people saying no) I can honestly say that being involved in UW has been one of the more rewarding experiences I have had in many a year.

Best of luck with your decision.

No. It is simple but not easy. You have to accept that getting rejected by a LOT of potential customers is part of the work. However, you also have to understand that as a rule they are rejecting the offer, not you personally. I took it personally and it wore me down. I didn't have the commitment required and gave up when the remuneration stopped being more than the bills. People say that friends and family are the easiest people to persuade. Wrong! Mine were the most resistant. Because it only costs £200 to sign up, many will not appreciate that it does take hard graft to get the ball rolling and so fall by the wayside. Perhaps the tyre kickers would be weeded out if the company made it more expensive to join. Anyway, experience tells me that a good living can be made, but, one must treat it as a business and not a hobby.

Its currently £100 to join according to a distributor that tried to get me to sign up. Lol.:D

You cant charge more then £200 to join anyway breaches oft rules i believe.

Not sure where stanj028 got the idea its clear and easy to do.Just like any other new business it would take some effort to get it off the ground, and considerable effort to earn a meaningful income.

How easy is it to cancel with UW? I have decided that far from saving me money it is costing me. :j

I just went through Quidco and signed up with other companies for electricity, gas, landline & broadband. No probs. The only things I've got left with UW are SWMBOs mobile and the pre-payment card. UW now put money back into our account very month. You have to give them a month's notice but the switchover took longer than that.

Got a massive pay rise and a promotion this week with UW. Great stuff.

Can you not see the irony, on a Money Saving Website, of a UW salesman, selling some of the most expensive gas and electricity in UK, boasting about getting a 'massive pay rise'?

Sorry, forgot it was keggs! Of course you wouldn't understand! Congratulations - well deserved.
