My citydeal today in my area Bolton is
£4 for £15 worth of luxury skincare products by Dermalogica from exclusive beauty website WantTheLook - Save 73%

Not sure if its all my citydeal area's, i can't put a direct link to mine as it will be a referral link. http://www.MyCityDeal.co.uk

The website delivery cost is £2.45, so i checked out the deal and say for a 50ml Dermalogica active moist which is £24 ish but on this website www.wantthelook.com its £21.......So using the voucher it would work out at about £10 for a bottle of the stuff delivered :T

Not bad. If i'm wrong feel free to correct me lol :D

    Hi clairibel

I too was very taken with this offer and I bought the MyCityDeal, but today I'm really annoyed when I want to redeem my voucher...............Have you noticed that Wantthelook appear to have increased their prices since the MyCityDeal - for example the 50ml active moist is £24.61 today instead of £21. This is sooooo cheeky of them - I am writing to them to complain.

I wonder if any other moneysavers have experienced the same???

    :(

I haven't noticed and that is very naughty as it was definatley that price, i always forget to do a screenshot ...but i hope you get it for the original prices and delivery or refund, maybe not as many took up the offer as hoped?? :(

Think this is something people should check with these deals now as they may do it on others?
  • yes, I noticed the same too...the want the look website increased products prices and delivery and also, even more annoying, when I was about to redeem the voucher I found out you have to spend a minimum amount otherwise it wont work!
That's unfair as they didn't state that in the fine print!!!

I wrote to my city deal...waiting for a reply, will be good to know what they are answering if anyone else is written to them, please post:)

    Not impressed overall

I have also had the smae problem. Wanted to buy the ultracalming cleanser but it has gone up in price by a few quid. I have emailed both the wantthelook.com website as well as mycitydeal website. Not impressed at all and certainly won't be giving them my business. Will keep you updated when I get a response

Ok it seems that the mycitydeals sunglasses thread are also having the same issue...prices going up.

I have linked it here to read and someone has spoke to Andre from mycitydeals who said a refund was offered.

There were lots of disgruntled people on Twitter yesterday complaining about the dermalogica deal - very underhand if you ask me.

Unfortunately I didn't get a screenshot of the cheaper price - but with so many of us complaining I think we should be hopeful in getting a refund from MyCityDeal or persuading Wantthelook to reduce their prices back to what they were on Monday 17th May. I've not heard anything from Wantthelook regarding my email sent to them yesterday, I will give them 2 days and then follow with a phone call! Just checked online now and the prices have not yet been reduced. Good luck everyone in either getting the original deal or getting a refund from MyCityDeal.

Dermalogica stockists have a deal on at the moment, if you buy 500ml Cleanser + 100ml moisturiser then you get 250ml toner free, saved me about £20
