To those with kids~~ do you make homemade ice lollies for them? if so where do you / did you buy the mould from, and what is a reasonable price for 6 or 8.

Reason being, OH has just announanced that DGS1 & DGS2 plus relevant parents are heading this way on Wednesday!!~~ thought I might like to make ice lollies for DGS1.

    Afternoon everyone

Had a good day all in all, thanks for all the hugs and thoughts.

We went to see Toothfairy which Miss A and W really enjoyed, we had KFC for lunch (which Daddy would heartily approve of :) ), a bit different to what we were eating 12 years ago! Then we went to friends and chatted the afternoon away.

It has been so warm not that I am complaining :D

We are going to have bacon sandwiches for dinner as it's too hot for anything else and the kids don't do salad.

I got some from tupperware.. but they were rubbish... better off making ice cubes and smashing them up and making a slushy kind of drink thing..

Ice cream cones are far superior!

Everyone fed.. far to hot for me to even contemplate food for at least another couple of hours.. Just letting them all dry the bouncy castle with their bottoms before bath and bed read for school tomorrow.. be interesting to know what the bigger 4 will wear seeing as I have had none of their uniforms in the wash despite being told Friday night and Saturday morning!

I need juice I think... and maybe ice cream...

Evening everyone, boy isn't it hot? My temperature thingy for outside has gone off the gauge = it isn't even registering anything at the moment. I think DH put it in the wrong place when he was siting it earlier in the year..ooops!! Might have to rectify that tomorrow while he is at work..lol

The washing machine has been going nineteen to the dozen, all the washing has dried and ironed itself by the looks of it..lol. But the basket is almost empty, just one load of odds and sods and the dog fleeces to wash.

Afraid I haven't done anything at all today apart from errr watch trash t.v., lounged around on the sofa, fell asleep in the heat and drunk copious amounts of squash :) Lovely day :)

AnW'sMum hope today wasn't too bad honey, hugs for you and gang :)
    Carol "hugs" honey.
LL - great to see you post, but you take it easy sweetie. Get your energy back then post again :) Tell Diva we miss her purple :) Special hugs to you xxx
Toots, hope it all goes well at the hospital next week. Hopefully you will still be able to post now and again if you don't forget the lappy. If not I will pop the odd text through to you :) Oooh that reminds me must charge up my mobile it died on me while I was listening to some music on it..oops!!

happybirthdaymarch.gifHelen Jelly, hope you are having a lovely one and getting totally spoilt :)

Just off to eat a lovely dinner of slow cooked joint of beef with minted new potatoes, flat beans asparagus with hollandaise sauce. Well that's what I hope is being dished up as DH is doing it, I did prepare everything for him earlier and pop them in water in tubs in the fridge. And I'm not going to interfere cos he yells at me..lol

I'm hoping that next week is going to be cooler as I really want to get on with my ironing tomorrow. I also have to plant out my seedlings as they are getting rather big but would have got scorched if they went out to day.. Shall just drown them with the hose later on :)
