Back from car booting, and I now have 5 empty boxes, very hot there, but this ever band has hired the Mk bowl for its dress / practice run, start to play at 12 noon ish, and we had a very good acoustic version of Dr Who, then a girlie started to sing she also was very good.

Mount Ironmore has been done, because I knew if I sat down I wuld get up again in an easy manner!!

Hugs if you need one, xx off to read what you all have been up to.

    Afternoon all

It's lovely out there, but I've come in to cool down.

Gardening jobs today as it is far to hot to fly

    Helen Jelly Happy Birthday Enjoy

Mumto5 - well done on your job success

JJ - wishing you success in your hung for work

PenPen hope you enjoyed your walk and lunch

Kezlou - I hope your burn is not too sore today

Toots - I hope your sunburn has gone down, please be careful. when are you next in hospital?

Gran - I hope Danny is recovering well from his first op

Cosmomo - I hope you can find a way to get your cash back

Time for another drink and then I have the hedge trimming to rake up from where DH has kindly cut it all back.

Toots - this will make you laugh. I had a dream that I had put a tree with a concrete base in the garden wheelie and when they emptied it it was too heavy and fell off and hurt somebody. I was really worried we'd be in trouble for overfilling the bin:o We currently have ours and next door's filled and have 10 days to go - it could be operation double refill next week:eek:

some success here... everything now in appropriate rooms and 2 presents wrapped and sorted. a bag of rubbish and box of paper/card for recycling sorted. DH tole me I'm not allowed to take the books to the charity bin as it says 'shoes & textiles' only so I'll just take 2 of the bags over and post the parcel (which I reckon might just pass as a large letter ;)). then I'm going to ahve a cold drink and put my (slightly swollen!) feet up!

2 loads of washing done.. including a pile of stuff rescued from the shed yesterday.

I have no idea what to construct for dinner tonight.. I think these would all be happy with cereal they are so hot! I need to send someone out for bread too so may give them a list for dinner food too... I have pork out for tomorrow.. not sure what to do with it mind!

Actually.. would jacket spuderoonies with beans/cheese be too crappy for dinner?

pigpen - that's one of my fave meals!

We are having the curry I made up yesterday, with brown rice to make it a bit healthier.

Have taken 2 bags of clothes to the charity bin, could hardly reach it as some idiot had flytipped a load of stuff there - why when it's only a couple of miles to the tip?! Also noticed a set of 4 car mats in great condition which had been dumped, completely dry and nothing wrong with them, so I snaffled them as we really need some!

I'm going to put my washing away then put my feet up with a book, feels like the weekend is nearly over :(

Well that idea was scuppered by a distinct lack of potatoes... so we are looking at tuna pasta.. hopefully.. with cheese and the remains of the salad I think.. there are a few boiled eggs in there I can poison them all with too.. and I will restock tomorrow when I can get to shop!

We have a car boot full of stuff to be dropped at charity shop so we will do that once we have dropped off at school and I may insist in a scurry to Lidl before it gets too hot to breathe... stock up on fruit and veg and see where we get from there!
