I creak this morning but can't rest up, I need to get this bathroom sorted today - I can rest tomorrow!
Have just soaked in the bath and that seems to help. I'll wait for the steam to dry before getting out the paint brush.

Morning all
2 loads of washing on the line - and the first load is showing signs of drying it's so hot  AND the house is FULL of AWAKE peeps - must be the weather! Their dad will not believe it when he phones to see if they're awake at 10 and to check when they'll be ready!
so I went to Dunelm and bought new pillow protectors and a new mattress cover and AF is here - but o no ...said the blood cells ... let's hit her where she least expects it...and the 'runny nose' I vaguely remember in the night turns out to have been a NOSEBLEED...minor BUT 1 pillow protector and the NEW mattress cover both (slightly) marked:mad: so I have sponged the mattress protector and am letting it dry as the bed airs.

I've been up for ages but haven't done much apart from had a bath. Although I have stripped the bed and that's in the WM.
DD is going over a friend's about 11 and staying over and DS has a friend coming over at the same time and then is sleeping at his cousin's so DH and I will probably go out tonight. We're going to go for a run over to Kibblestone as well so I know where I'm going next Saturday and i don't get lost!
Better make a start I suppose.
Have a good day all

Doing my usual Sat morning catch up before swimming! Been a warm couple of days at work, I ended up helping out a t a more local branch yesterday afternoon which meant I got to water polo a bit earlier to see Miss A's team win both their matches :T They are in the finals now (don't ask me what of!)
Have been skim reading and sieve brain has kicked in but wanted to say (for now) well done to GnB for finishing the exams and hugs to Choccybix, you have to trut your gut feelings and do what you have to within the confines of the law to keep your children safe, some sound advice given.Dustykitten wrote: »Newlywed I hope you and hubbie are on better terms this evening. Ditto that12 years for us tomorrow, can't bear to go to church so Miss A, W and I will be going out for the day instead. Think we might go to the cinema early doors so that we are incommunicado for a while.

Kids all up now, dressed and awaiting breakfast then we'll get more done in the garden...
A couple of more loads of washing done, just need to get them out now.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -

I've been up for about an hour, have had breakfast and am watching a casualty off the sky box. Hoping DH stays put in bed for a while (i slept in spare room as I couldn't get comfy last night) so he hasn't been disturbed at all. I love my quiet Saturday mornings to myself. He would like to go on a walk today but it's too hot for me and I'm out this afternoon at someone's ordination. We're going to a mate of DH's for a BBQ tonight too.
Main jobs for today are laundry, 2 loads...and I need to finish my service for tomorrow. Parents are coming next Thurs-sun so need to make sure flying is up to date then. Everywhere is dusty again - gets like that so fast...worse as we live on main road.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
And all caught up!
Boddy hope your DGS is ok and gran glad to hear Danny was on his way home. Sounds perfectly reasonable to me for the forces to be putting you in a hotel close by. Two and half hours each way is a long way to travel when you are visiting a sick relative.
Miss A is ready to go, better chase W.
