    [STRIKE]Friday - childrens rooms and spare room[/STRIKE]

oo I did today yesterday, now I'm doing yesterday today;)

been to Dunelm and bought zipped pillow protectors (on half price;)) which means I will have the necessary oomph to whip them off and wash them much more often than I do my others...which I have had since cof 1984 cof as they need to be sewn on and unpicked which is a pain and a new mattress protector as the backing on mine has cracked..mattress turned, pillows have been out airing in the suinshine...my bed will smell delicious tonight!
I also took a freezer bag to Mr M's and bought ice lollies, ice cream and dandelion and burdock which is all in the fridge/freezer ready for when hot teens return. DS has an exam this afternoon..PE.

Re the Gala apples - got any puff pastry? - Tarte Tatin sounds posh, looks great , needs dessert apples and is so simple it was a regular offering in Valliland until the kids complained...
    I ask you!

"Mum, can we have something different? I'm fed up of Tarte Tatin."

Ruined the kids of today...don't know they're born.

Basically peel and core, quarter, drip a bit of lemon juice over to stop them browning too much, fry in butter with brown sugar if you have it, caster if not. Arrange in a suitable round tin/dish which is ovenproof with the juice (or keep in pan if all metal). Top with circle of puff pastry and put in oven gas mark 5 20-25 mins until pastry light and golden and cooked. Plop a plate on the top and invert (quickly) so that pastry is now on the bottom and prettily arranged ;) apples on the top...

a bay buyer has got in touch and paid - seems she's forgotten. Not to worry - at least I can get to the PO today or tomorrow. Bet I get good feedback;) And I already wrapped it!

How hot! I am not complaining but  it has taken me an hour to make a dent in the back garden. Haven't mowed all the way to the bottom yet or finished it off well. It felt like I was working in an oven. Maybe I will finish later when it is cooler

I have spoken to the school secratery re working as a TA or one to one, she thinks the qualifications I have may be enough, I will need to speak to the head to confirm. The main problem I have now is that I have none of the confidence I had in my 20's and dislike speaking to people in authority. Will find my certs and try and see him on Monday. Not sure if there is anything going in our school (or if my welsh is good enough(again lack of confidence)). However there ae 2 english schools in the village as well as a few in the neighbouring villages.......fingers crossed xx

Flying....e-mailed someone about the playtent, had lunch and cleaned up after myself!!! Having a cuppa now, then school run, Mr T's for passport photo of DD for her TKD liscence, Take DD for McD treat then it chill time xx

Chased the podiatry appointments for the 2 tiddlies.. apparently we missed an appointment on 4th May.. well had they told me about it I might have been able to attend sadly my ESP was not working at full capacity that week! .. anyway they are both booked in for 29th June.. so the physio gets the job of sorting ankle braces for them both seeing as I am not having them in boots over the summer, their feet are hurting and swollen as they are so very very hot! It is only a matter of time before we have athletes foot running rampant!

Sorted DS1's gf's coursework.. I get all the good jobs!

Rang my mother back.. she rang at half 11 this morning apparently.. oh well..

Dragging OH outside to help finish cleaning up my mess.. :p

What a day so far, woke to find that DD and DS1 thought it was a good idea to draw all over each other with markers. Then when i get home i find they have marked DD's bedroom walls with it, as well the canvas wardrobe that i only moved in yesterday and her shoes.
Bo thought it was a good idea to race out the door this morning and knocked over the flower pot so it's now broke.
So ds and psp are being took away for a fortnight, they can come home today and help with the garden and flip will i work them.;)
Anger has been took out on the kitchen today and i must say it is looking rather good.:D

Helllooooo, my internet went awol but back now after phoning provider, seems we have a phone line issue.

    Anyways

Choccy...hugs what a 'mare of a situation, you can ring the probation manager and ask to speak in confidence, they go to monthly meetings with superintendents et al re 'risk to the community' offenders and high risk offenders, they can then put in a strategy to curtail the offenders movements...it's not much but it may put your mind at ease. If asked where you got the info from you can say you'd rather not say...you don't have to. xx

:j:j:j:j:j To GnB after finishing your exams, well done.

Hugs to Cyclingyorkies DD hope her exam went ok and wasn't too stressful for her. x

    Newlywed, happy anniversary hun. x

Decluttered DD1 out of the house as she was still in her PJ'S when I returned..., I'm not a popular mother at the mo....oh well.
