    Morning lovelies!

Graaaaaaaaaan Glad Danny is on his way home, and try not to fret (this coming from a right worry wart *tuts* :D ) I'm sure the stay over is just standard procedure xx

    Safe travels Greenbee x
    *waves to soappie* x

    Wotcha everyone :hello:

It's red hot! and even hotter tomorrow, OMG I think I'm gonna melt. Got work today for 5 hrs will be putting a vest top on instead of my usual t-shirt as the second house is already like an oven, will be opening windows and doors today I'm sure.

Ooooh got news, DD1 passed her driving test on Tuesday first time, proud mam I am. The bank wont give her a loan for a car though as she has never had any credit so no credit file thing, she's gutted she only wants £1000 not a huge amount, gits. We're trying to have a whip round between us all but may fall short where the insurance is concerned. Anyway I waffle.

    I've been busy

Done the usual full level 3 downstairs clean yesterday inbetween everything else lol and this morning I have, in order:-

    made a brew
loaded DW & switched it on
    S&S'd the kitchen
    straightened littleys hair
hung 1 load of washing out *melts*
    made sarnie for work
    opened windows & curtains
    put rubbish in the bin
    tidied LR
    made beds
    sorted work bag
    made another broo.

Got work then make a mince & dumplings with veg and cook a bolognese for tea tomorrow, littley drop off at gymnastics, pick her back up then drop her at nanas, come back clean up after tea, hot shower, book, bit of TV, snuggles and bed.

    laters gators :hello: xx

    congrats to your DD!

DS passed his test in March - my mum lent him £1000 to buy a car but said he had to save for the insurance. He bought the car for £650...but the insurance cost him £1500:eek::eek::eek:!!!!!!!!

This is with a discount for doing pass plus ( well worth doing) and having something fitted in the car - he's not supposed to drive between 11pm and 5am - otherwise it would have been £2200!!!!!!!!!

On the plus side I think girls are cheaper to insure.....

Since buying the car he's had to join the RAC (emergency join - he had broken down) and pay £180 to the mechanic who fixed the problem when the RAC couldn't........

It's not cheap this driving business....

Morning all. Have washing out on the line, DDs and my bed have been stripped and they are now in the machine. Am going to iron before it gets too hot and then S&S where necessary.

Have had lovely feedback on e bay from the two items I posted on Monday but not a word yet from the third buyer. Invoice not acknowledged, nothing...so I have sent a nice message asking what's happening.

    Back later

embb - well done your DD!

Well done to your DD :j

When the joiner brought back my window, he cleaned it, too :T so I've substituted "cleaning" for "painting" the window :D Beautiful day here, so I'll get the second coat on later today.

I'm out with the girlies for tea and cake this afternoon. Will be great to catch up :)
