Great day of flying yesterday...got LOADS done!

Can I just take a moment to give thanks for Cif Lemon Cream. My GOD it did a number on my oven. It's a stainless steel range thing, and frankly it hasn't really looked decent since about 6 months after we bought it 9 years ago.

Well I attacked it last night with my Lemon Cream, (found during my under the sink cupboard cleaning attack LOL).

Dh was in awe of it! Off today to buy industrial sized quantities of it :rotfl:

    Sooo onwards and upwards:

Tuesday ~ Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Level 1
    Vacuum floors and sofas

    Level 2
    Dusting, even if around everything
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
    Level 3
Wipe light switches, sockets (make sure they are not switched on!!) and banister
Clean any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc
Tidy shoes, coats and bags .. wash any that need washing. See if there are any that don't fit, past their best or just plain uncomfy which could leave the house!
    Extras

    1. Clean out sideboard drawers in living room.
    2. Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself
    3. Clean a window or two

    Morning all

Jus a quick post as I have been on here way to long doing an online shop
It comes in 2 exams - half a GCSE each. My DS is doing one today and the other after half term.
Good luck to everyone doing exams :T

    [/FONT]

    Everything crossed for you :A

Depends entirely on school and exam board - ours do half in Yr10 christian/muslim (2 shorter papers) and then another half in Yr11 Phil and ethics (1 long paper). They are stand alone and one can be done without the other so you can end up with half or end up with 2 halves but that does not make a whole in the true sense.

And on that note off for a cuppa, granola bar and HHC in the kitchen

Mel - hugs, stay strong; remember she cannot affect your thoughts or how you feel for only you can do that;)

Insightful thought from my 16 year old yesterday. They examine us in too much, everything they teach us. Why not just teach us stuff. Let's face it if I'm cooking dinner for a girlfriend she won't be impressed that I have a hygiene cert just that I'm cooking and not poisoning her.

Lemanie.. just be glad she is out of your life.. she cannot get details of your condition/illness/you so let her get on with being pathetic.. she is the one with the mental problem obviously and it won't do her any good.. You are so much better than this and just smile and let it go.. Look at all the lovely things in your life and be glad she is not making any vile undercurrents because she is no longer part of it. :D

That's the trouble, she isn't out really. I was still letting her have access to our kids, even though OH thought it was a bad idea. However, when her and her family visited the area at Easter, only DS1 wanted to spend time with them and I suspect that was only because of ice-cream and amusements :D. Anyway, ranting on here made me feel much calmer and I have decided that I am going to stop her access to the kids. I will explain to them and ask DD to remove her from FB and MSN. Plus, I'm going to be extra careful what I say to Mum in future so that limited info gets through.
Mel - hugs, stay strong; remember she cannot affect your thoughts or how you feel for only you can do that;)

Thank you both, so much for your kind words and thoughts, means a lot to me :o
