See, hubby put new curtain rail up in hallway on Sunday and I've been putting off hanging new curtains until after I'd ironed them but now I have Pigpen permission to put them up without :D :j. What's that, don't do as I do, do as I say...sorry I can't hear you, too busy up the stepladder :D.

It takes a few days but the weight of them pulls the creases out.. go hang them up and stop being such a girl.. besides.. mine are pretend suede so cannot be ironed!! :p

    Afternoon lovelies

Haven’t a cat in hells chance of catching up – so love/hugs/commiserations/congratulations as appropriate to you all xx

Many thanks to all who have posted on here and FB regarding Danny. I have been very moved by all your love and best wishes. I knew something was going to happen when I went to the post office yesterday morning and I couldn’t send my parcel to him because it was too heavy, my sister also couldn’t send hers in time (she left it at the post office) as the man behind the counter had 10 other parcels to register and was nearly ready for closing) how spooky is that?

Anyway he is supposed to be flying home tonight and going straight to the military hospital in Birmingham for another operation. The flight will take15 hours as they go via Cyprus for some reason. He is made up as he gets a bed on the plane and he says if they pump enough morphine in him he’ll sleep all the way! He sounded cheery this morning when he rang at just before 7 am - he knows I don't sleep in, spoke to him for half an hour. The army have been brilliant, his sergeant major phoned me from camp Bastion last night to keep me updated and today the troop commander himself has rung me. We will be assigned an escorting office who will keep us up to date on any changes and will arrange for us to see him in the military hospital. They think he will be out of action for about 3 months and then will presumably go back to Munchengladbach to get fit again and then who knows – hopefully not back to that place for a while. As you can imagine it’s been tough for us as a family as we want him home, he will always be my baby just as I am still my mum’s baby at the grand old age of 45!

Flying - err decluttered copious amount of tears and alcohol last night! Today I’ve emptied all the bins and washed them, done one load of washing and hung it out and s/s’d kitchen and aired and made the bed. I’m sat at work with no inclination to do anything at all I’m afraid.

Love and hugs all round xx

Carlsberg.. at least you get him home for a while.. even though he will be unbearable lol. He is fixable and that is all that matters!! My nephew is in Germany at the moment but did 3 tours in Iraq and I think has done 2 in Afghanistan..

House insurance sorted.. found 1 for £46 a month.. when I went to the actual site and rechecked it went down to £44.. sorted.. only £6 more than last years so fine by me!

Next job.. I may do a binbag dance just for fun!
