Hi all
Slightly belated, but I'm in again this week. OH has a client visiting today so guess who had to tidy the entire house (bar the bedrooms) on their own? As well as look after two children and keep the rest of the house running (single-handed, I might add). He chose to go out all day Sunday with his brother instead of pitching in....oh, and I was informed that it would be great to have a sandwich lunch today too.
And what would you be eating then? Supermarket shop is on Wednesday....(and he knows this!).
I can just about cope with all of that, but after two days of cleaning - and a lot of that was clearing up after the plumbers...dust, grimy fingerprints, and so on - he came home yesterday evening and said....'Doesn't look like much has been done...I suppose I'd better be getting on with the cleaning then' and proceeded to go around what I'd already done....
To say he's in the dog house would be an understatement.
Anyway, here's what I've been doing...if it ain't there it's done...
Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining room
Level One
Level Two
Wipe units and large appliances
IF YOU ARE ABLE!.. pull out a large appliance and clean behind and under it! Nope. Won't be doing this just yet. Might get OH to do at the weekend
Level Three
Clean doorseals, filters and [STRIKE]deterrgent drawers[/STRIKE]
Extras
Tuesday ~ Living Room, Hall and Stairs
Level 1
Vacuum floors and sofas
Level 2
Level 3
Extras
Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself
Vacuuming will be done this morning, along with some rather amazing production of lunch out of thin air....I shall be escaping later, but only to visit a toxic someone...deep joy.
I hope everyone is OK? I'm sorry that I haven't had time to read through, but am sending loads of hugs to anyone who needs one.
Take care
D

I got cornered by the nurse the other day while I was on the phone to the surgery - I have to have my smear on Thursday.. Nothing unusual about that you may say but it is my first one in errrrr 11 years
Well done for overcoming your fears :TNot got a hope in hell of catching up. I have spent all afternoon writing and then decluttering via email another application form and supporting statement. Vibes and stuff crossed please ladies...

Hugs to you Ishtar, I can feel you annoyance from here! I taught Miss A at the age of 2 to hold her hands out to the side, palms facing upwards then to shrug her shoulders whilst saying in a resigned voice 'Men' :rotfl:
