Hi all.
Natty - it's really honestly not as bad as you think - I only had my first one last year and wondered why I'd put it off so long. It's not exactly pleasant but rather than being a horrible nightmare, it's slightly uncomfortable and mildly embarrassing. The nurse said its their "bread and butter", that they do it all the time so they don't really even think anything of it.
Soappie - hope you get the job you want. I've applied for 34 jobs in 2 months (having been made redundant). Spoke to a friend who said some admin jobs at the local hospital have had over 200 applicants!!!! Both of us will get a job though, just keep on trying. I don't ever want to go back into that demoralising depressing job center again.
On that note, I am somewhat in a tizz this morning as I've got a second level interview late this afternoon, and another interview (in front of a panel with set questions) tomorrow.
So far today I have.... had breakfast, watched tv, procrastinated in getting out of bed, finally got up and made the bed, and run a bath that I've not got into yet

Can I ask who it was with? Mine runs out on Friday so I need to get it sorted ASAP and everywhere is twice what I was paying last year!!
Lemanie.. just be glad she is out of your life.. she cannot get details of your condition/illness/you so let her get on with being pathetic.. she is the one with the mental problem obviously and it won't do her any good.. You are so much better than this and just smile and let it go.. Look at all the lovely things in your life and be glad she is not making any vile undercurrents because she is no longer part of it.
