Tesco overcharging for petrol?

Evening all.
When calling at my local tesco for petrol recently I have noticed the price has been 120.9p/litre for about 2weeks or more and it still is. But our local asda is selling petrol at 118.9p/litre but also a notoriously expensive garage is selling petrol at 117.9p/litre.
This leads me to believe that tescos petrol deal isn't as good as they want you to think.
What are your opinions?

They are the same price as all the garages around my way.0

It's because they have their "5p off when you spend £50 instore" promotion on

Is there a problem?
One shop/garage sells something at a different price form another?
Whatever next!;)
Sainsburys are doing the 5p off deal as well, which I availed myself of this very evening. Their diesel was 120.9 the petrol 119.90 -
Our local tesco is 121.9 unleaded, over the road is morrissons were unleaded is 119.9,couple of miles away asda are 117.9,tesco have always been 2-4p per litre more expensive whether 5p petrol promo is on or not,so much for tescos claim of LOW petrol prices.0

I've filled up at my local Tesco for years, they were always cheapest for fuel in my area. Then some time ago, I noticed that they were charging 2 or 3 pence more per litre more than others in my area. I emailed Tescos who confirmed that they have now changed their pricing policy, so now I fill up when I'm passing my local Sainsburys...always seems to be 3 pence a litre cheaper....Unleaded currently 117.9 against 120.9 from Tescos.....every little helps!
I suggest checking on Petrolprices.com to find out the best value in your area!

MOVING THREADS FOR BETTER RESPONSES
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. I dream of prices like that. Up here in the Highlands its £1.29 a litre0

The reason I posted this was that tesco and asda usually have the same price by me. And the other garage I mentioned has always charged loads more than the supermarkets for petrol and now it's the cheapest. Just seems to me like tesco are charging more than they need to for petrol whilst 5p off offer is on.0
