Ok, so I got an email today from ebay to say they have been alerted to a possible fraudulent seller and that I should not go ahead with the sale and pay for the item!!!
If it was a genuine seller, I'm sure that they would be seriously p**s*d off by now if I purchased the item on 1st May and still hadn't paid!
When I looked at my buyer activity, there is no mention at all of the item and when I look for listings from this particular seller, it says there is no such seller on ebay. Its like they never actually existed.
Does this mean that they have cut and run or that ebay have dispensed with their services? I haven't had a refund yet from paypal so I hope I will still receive it.0 -
It means ebay have pulled them entirely. If they had just tried to close down their account it would still be visible on a search.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
