You not hitting your limit so they probably are not checking. Not checking and not having the ability to check are two different things.
Interesting it's $10 and I assume rejected by Apple to go in the Apps store, but yet it's free on Windows Mobile and possibly Android. Just shows how Apple are getting people in the mentality of paying for everything.0 -

I can assure you ALL mobile networks in this country charge for iPhone tethering regardless of whether you download 1mb or 1gb it's clearly mentioned in their terms and conditions. Yes you can can tether on iPhone without using wi-my but the whole point of paying 10 dollars for this software is that it fools your mobile operator into thinking you're still using your phone for web access. Remember O2 users have been hit in the past with tethering charges. Oh and I've now thrown away my 3G USB dongle...I'm saving £15 a month by buying 10 dollar software

I would imagine everyone raves about android as that is the only experience they have had and not had the luxury of testing out let alone owning an iphone.
After all this is MSE.
If i got given a iphone for free, fab. But i cannot justify the cost of buying 1 outright or the tariff i would need to be on in order to have one.
So android is fine for me and i'll stick with my ipod nano. After all i am only 2 days old into this adroid thing, only having just got my mobile on contract as always been PAYG.Mummy to two girls: October 2013 and February 20160 -

This is a little unfair. I can afford an iPhone however I don't WANT one. Prior to the desire I had a WM phone which was a brilliant phone. I have had an opp to use the iphone OS and its ok but imo nothing special. However Android is fantastic, simplistic, stunning and something that i hope will dev.
And I have had this phone 4 1/2 weeks and have yet to refer to the manual (and the HTC diamond which I had for 2 yrs I didn't have to refer to it at all!)Using my phone to post - apologies in advance for any typos0 -
I must admit the Iphone is really aimed at the females of all ages. I have seen a male with one recently but I dismissed it as an act of desperation before he reached a mobile phone shop.
Men really should not purchase Iphones. Its just plain wrong.0 -

So you obvioulsy know your breaking the T&C's then
If your not hitting a limit they won't be checking, once you do they'll take an interest. No company is going to check all headers just because they can, they'll only do it when they have to.0 -

Not the case. I'm happy to spend money on great products and spend a fair bit on techy stuff. I've used iPhones and iPod Touches belonging to family and friends pretty much since they launched and have seriously considered buying them over the years, but couldn't quite bring myself to shell out for several reasons, the main one being the complete lack of any way to add or expand memory.
However, I happily paid for (or at least towards) my HTC Desire and was going to buy it outright for £400 (but T-Mobile insisted on giving me the Desire and 2 years airtime for £400 instead - as you point out, this is MSE). I didn't expect to be quite so impressed by a phone, but 2 months on and I'm still astounded by the capabilities of what is to my reckoning, the best techy gadget I have ever purchased. And I've bought a few since my first one, a Faber Castell slide rule almost 35 years ago. There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
It's for the many and not the few. Be sure it's out there looking for you.
In every town, in every state. In every house and every gate.
Wth every precious smile you make. And every act of kindness.

I'd agree with everything Fifer says, apart form the slide rule bit!
I've used an iPod touch extensively and have played with other people's iPhones but the Desire is definately a step up. That may change when the iPhone 4G is releases, although from what I've read so far it will only catch up not overtake the Desire, but for now the Desire is better.
The only advantage the iPhone still holds is the number of Apps available but Android is not exactly starved of Apps and will catch up.
Also I'm not a fan of Apple's policy of deciding what I can and can't do with a device I've purchased. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -
Last year the iPhone was the in phone, this year it is the HTC and Android, all the people who wear the nice wooly coats and shout baaa to each other can now go buy them, the good news is 2nd hand iPhone are flooding the market because of this, just picked up a 32gb 3GS for £300 and it is in excellent nick and legally unlocked from O2, Took all of 30 seconds to jailbreak with new breaker and I am now very happy with my bargain. Good tip, let the sheep follow the fashion and the wise can then buy the ex fashion for half price. Looking forward to my bargain Android when the new iPhone comes out.Approach her; adore her.
