WANTED: wardrobes, chest of drawers bedside tables not to old fashioned !!

due to giving away most of our bedroom furniture to move they pulled out

I've recently moved and am planning to do the house up.
I'm looking for a DARK BROWN RUG, a STAND ALONE COOKER, a FRIDGE&FREEZER and a nest of COFFEE TABLES.

Regarding the people criticising the people who post asking for scrap metal like washing machines, cookers etc; In our area we have to pay for the council to come and collect bulk refuse like that so these types of people are a godsend and very polite too (well 'our' Darren is anyway!).

I regularly use Freecycle and there are specific rules, no pets wanted OR offered, instead people are refereed to a list of rehoming centres. Also no wanted ads for expensive goods such as computers, mp3 players, white goods etc. It generally works pretty well.

I regularly offer items on Freecycle and my bugbear is the people who arrange to collect and then never turn up, only to email telling me a sob story about their child was taken into hospital suddenly and they couldn't make it etc. I believed it the first time and reoffered but then a few months later when I got the same story and checked back in my emails to find it was the same person, I was pretty annoyed. Why ask for stuff just to mess people about?

On the flip side, I offered some sports autobiographies to a lovely man who collected them bang on time and brought me a pot of his homemade chutney as a gift to say thankyou
