Thompson & Morgan Plants £9.99 + £10 in Vouchers

Hi There

Got a few replies from my complaint, follow it up please. I certainly will be 4 orders = £20 worth of vouchers short, £40 worth will be a nice start to next years display.


Original complaint...

I've been a T&M customer for many years. I recently received 2 orders for the Chelsea Flower Show Celebration and was expecting £10 worth of vouchers in each pack as advertised, but got a £5 voucher in each one instead. I placed a further two orders as gifts for friends, they have not arrived yet. I know of other people this has happened to with the same offer. I've never known T&M to do anything like this before.

Hi Susan. I suggest that others contact customer care directly on ccare@thompson-morgan.com or on 0844 2485383 as this issue has only affected a small number of people and customer service are dealing with this currently.

I placed 2 orders for the Chelsea Flower Show Celebration, one on the 17th May at £9.99 and another on the £4.99 deal. Also ordered Jolly Nantes Fuchsia deal with each one and a separate Summer Borders Collection and the 30 Large Summer Fuchsia Deal.
Have received nothing. Have emailed, got no response so had to ring them - told the End of May Delivery should be sent out this week. Not very happy, they would not cancel order just said ring back if I don't get them by the end of the week.
I don't understand why they can't keep people informed by email and give them the option of cancelling if they can't deliver as promised.

My Lucky Dip Collection from Sutton's came within a few days and everything is starting to flower.

I ordered one lot of the Chelsea selection on 16th May and two on 30th May. So far I have received nothing. I emailed them and got this response

So basically, I am none the wiser. I ordered the lucky dip offer from Suttons on may 26th and it arrived on Saturday. Suttons will defintely be getting my orders in future

I an still waiting for my order too and i bought them when they were £9.99 the quickist way ive found to get anything done is have them on your facebook and then ask on there where your order is there on the fone to u the same day lol cos everyone can read that your dissapointed .

Hi,
I got some of the Asda compost a little while ago. I am extremely disappointed with the quality of it this year. Its not in the same league as last year. They must have changed suppliers.
Also, back on topic, my fuchias arrived from T&M today, no voucher of any kind and I'll be lucky if these plants make anything at all. They are no bigger than 4cm. Definitely wouldn't buy from them again.

I am still waiting for mine at £9.99 ordered on 19th May, by the time it gets here they wont have time to grow lol

I got another pack this morning, and the summer colour pack @ £9.99 there is some really nice plants in this pack, it was advertised @ £50 worth, It didn't seem worth that so... I spend the morning going through all this years catalogues searching for the varieties (It was raining so hadn't much else to do). Lo and behold there's £50 worth of plants in the pack after all, according to their catalogue prices. So it works out about 30p per plant. Its stopped raining now with a wee bit of luck I will get these planted up this afternoon :j

Two more packs to come and thats me finished for this year anyway.

How about we post pictures when they are all in flower?
