My local WHSmith has the 10 packs of Bic cristal medium black pens and they're on sale at £2.99, but they aren't aware of any special promotional packaging. Has anyone seen a promo pack anywhere? I know someone who owns a registered company...;)

Tesco Reading had the special packs for £3.00.
  • I sat and emptied one pen it took approx 2 and a half hours. Just scribbled over and over on paper as i watched Tv.

Although on the individual challenge it says "Send us your pen" and not pens it goes on to say "Providing the guidleines are met, we'll send you a cheque for £10 for each pen"
Also I could enter with my colleagues but who would the cheque be payable to? I wouldn't want them to issue the cheque in my employers name as I wouldn't be able to pay it in!!
    Any ideas anyone?

I think this is very do-able!
According to this website the longest average length a ball point pen will draw is 2,000 metres.
I have done a scribble test (wasn't going mad or anything!) and drew 2.42 metres in 4 seconds which is 60cm per second.
According to that speed it would take 3333 seconds (55 minutes continuous scribbling!)
Haven't tested this full scale yet though as I have not been able to find the promotional pack yet
