Not sure of the price of these in shops, but have found them online for £1.30. You need a receipt or invoice to qualify, so you could purchase them online.

Buy a promotional pack of 10 BiC® Cristal® Medium Black pens between 1st April and 31st December 2010 and keep your receipt or invoice .
Use all the ink in your BiC® Cristal® Medium so that theres none visible in the cartridge, and the pen can no longer write.
Send Bic your pen! It's got to be at least 30 days after the date of purchase, but by 31st January 2011. Make sure you include the receipt or invoice, the completed application and the empty BiC® Cristal® Medium black promotional pack pouch 10 packaging too.
Theyll send you a cheque for £10 for each pen within 28 days. Only one claim per address. You need to register with the site to download an application form.

    Website is www.challengebic.co.uk/

Get scribbling! If you have a WH Smiths card they are offering £5 off when you spend £12 (received by email) on stationery so you could stock up with biros!

P.S I have not "nicked" this from Hotukdeals, I am Savvylady on there!

Oops, sorry. Googled Bic Cristal and found Bic superstore, but it's American and prices quoted in dollars but with sterling equivalent. Not the promo packs either. Too keen to post! Should still be cheap to buy in shops though as they normally cost about 25p each.

You could probably empty the pen by removing the innard and dipping it in white spirit, or something.

I think it is worth doing as an individual depending on how much you are going to pay for the 10 pen pouch. Say if it is £2.50 you would be making £7.50 plus you would have enough pens to last a fair while. Never need to be without one the next time you need one! I think you would need to make an extra special effort with the pen you are going to send in and doodle ALOT!!

This statemnet from the T&C' ""BIC reserves the right to amend or cancel the terms of this offer without notice." is good enough reason to not bother. This is the kind of thread that stays at the top of the forum for ages,& BIC arnt going to be able to honur this ,Self bankrupcy
Not the brightest comment that I've ever read on this forum. Here are the BIC figures for the first quarter of 2009:
    http://www.bicworld.com/img/pdf/BIC_Q109Results_PressRelease_22APR090.pdf

Note that although sales were down by 0.8% to just over 308 million euros in the first quarter of the year, the net income IMPROVED 6.6% to almost 27 million euros. So I don't think that a few £10 cheques are likely to warrant a board-room panic, and:
BIC arnt going to be able to honur this ,Self bankrupcy
Those words in the Ts&Cs appear in virtually any Ts&Cs that have a lawyer involved in drawing them up, incidentally.
Thanks to all who post constructively.
