I am buying this TV Panasonic TX-32G10B for my bedroom. Newbie here. Is it simple to install, I just want to know whether I could just plug and it will self install itself? I have sky+ plus downstairs. I will take multi room later but not now. Thanks.

This TV requires a link to a satellite dish. You should have a dish with a quad output, so that all that is required is to run a cable from the LNB to your bedroom.
Multiroom is pay TV. Why would you want to buy a TV with a built in satellite decoder if you are subsequently going to go for multiroom?RIP independent MSE.

its got a freesat, freeview, analogue tuner built in.
so yes it will be just plug in whatever type of aerial you have got.
but best picture option would be freesat.0 -
What channels do you want on your TV? Do you need the subscription channels in the bedroom or would the Free To Air (FTA) channels suffice?
If you just want FTA, then a TV with just Freeview would be fine.
If you bought the Panasonic with the Freesat, you could just run another cable from your Sky dish into the bedroom. There would be no subscription charges and you'll get the Freesat SD and HD channels.
The connection from the dish (the LNB) will already have spare outputs as you have Sky+. All that'd be required is cable and connectors.Dave. :wave:0 -
Thanks, will go for this one at £339.99 at Dixons Panasonic TX-L32S10B 32 in. HDTV-Ready LCD TV. Only need it to watch freeview channels therefore need only a basic one. Thinking of upgrading to Sky+HD with multiroom if I can get an offer from sky. Thanks for all you advice.0

Avoid Dixons like the plague. Go for John Lewis or Richer Sounds, where a 5 yr guarantee is included or costs 10% of purchase price respectively.

(I've got the Samsung, which I can recommend.)RIP independent MSE.
