Selling phone on ebay - question regarding a question i have recieved!

Selling my sony ericcson k800i on ebay, only started last night will end sunday at 8pm.

now i have recieved a few questions to send it to nigeria etc, obviously these get ignored.

but i did recieve this question

Hi. Is this mobile exactly as described? If it is, will you accept 270 pounds for it? And i will pay you via PAYPAL before you send it. does this sound ligit or dodgy? she is not asking me to send this abroad as she will do this her self.

I would ask her to send cash special delivery. Never like the stories about birthdays etc as it implies a time limit that the goods have to be sent by.

She wants to buy it outside of ebay by asking for a BIN price. This will mean your not covered when she makes a chargeback. It all sounds too Nigerian to me.

When I sold a phone I had offers from obvious scammers asking to pay BIN but also people who were probably legit. I told them if they want it, they can bid which they did in the end.

I personally would not accept an offer outside of eBay.

Use stolen credit card details so that the payment you receive is taken abck later, with no chance of ever seeing your phone or money again, or:
Send you a fake paypal email, pretending to have paid you
