Did you guys see that he's threatening to retire after this tour? I'm gutted! This was my first live performance and I'm hungry for more :(

Oh yeah of great faith. I have no doubt there will be a tour DVD, based on the Leeds gig with some previously unseen extras.

He said that after Knebworth too if I remember correctly ;) He's releasing a new album on 23rd October (new single out on 13th) so I don't think we've seen the last of him by any means. Hope not anyway! :D
  • I went to see him on Thursday and started queuing at 9am. Oh yes we were one of the first 100 in the bowl but what was the point - they made the 'I've got a golden ticket but haven't bought my tickets until May and did not join the fan club at £25 a go' area so big that even on the outside barrier we were so far away. So many people were complaining about the golden ticket saga - especially when we had tickets right at the front in Wembley - it simply was an unfair fiasco. As for the gig - well lucky that Orson turned up - as they didn't bother on the Friday and Robbie - well spoke to the security guard who stood in front of us for nearly the entire duration - blocking out our view who said he said the same old stuff every time and was even mouthing the words coming out of Robbies mouth - lies lies lies. Frankly, it was not worth the whole fiasco of waiting - Knebworth was spectacular - Milton Keynes was just one big rip off. He has been sitting on the money from the tickets since October time last year and then has the cheek to charge £5 for the car park and £30 for a t-shirt that quite frankly looked like it had been made for 5 pence. Sorry Robbie - but try and spend less time with that loser friend Johnny Wilkes and more time entertaining - it was you we came to see not that hanger on-er.
Food and Smellies Shop target £50 pw - managed average of £49 per week in 2013 down to £38.90 per week in 2016
  • i saw robbie tuesday, we sat at the back of the bowl at the bottom of the slope. Excellent spot could see the whole thing. Much better than being in the crowd and not being able to see over peoples heads! im only 5ft!!

I thought he was fabulous and has still got it! he did look a bit tired towards the end but he was still fab - what an entertainer and orson and basement jaxx were excellent too! we got there about 3 oclock - had a picnic and relaxed in the sun all day! Managed to get in with a MASSIVE picnic - despite what it said on the tickets!

I agree that the merchandise is outragously priced! a zip up top was £60!!!! and a tenner for a keyring! i waited til i got outside and brought a fake tshirt for a fiver!! LOL

an excellent day - i hope he does continue to tour and hope that he isnt retiring!
  • nic_santorini, im sure you've got a few valid points (the johnny wilkes bit in partic) but you can hardly say robbie himself was sitting on the money from october, even so its not him who charges a fiver for parking and etc, dont blame the robster for management decisions etc, he gets out there and puts on a FAB show, we should all feel priviledged to have been there, I know plenty who were gutted they couldnt get tickets. Heres to the next tour anyway!
