Thanks, was kind of hoping for specifics?

2pm open makes it almost as long as a festival.

  • Nightmare from start to finish. Postie didn't fetch the tickets with the mail this morning.... ran after her to be told that she would fetch them and not a van as it's just an envelope and not a parcel...... rang the depot to say she'd signed for them this morning!..... but she "couldn't remember". Had the depot manager looking under desks etc to see if they'd been dropped on the floor. (Stressed or what....) Anyway - she found them in the bottom of her bag at the end of the delivery. Must say - so pleased with the service i've paid £25 extra for!

  • Any ideas what time they come on and what times Robbie on?
Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.

We were at Glasgow on Sat, arrived about 6.30ish and Orson had been and gone (still none the wiser who they are???), think Basement Jaxx came on about 7ish and Robbie came on at about 8.30 till about 10.30. Unsure whether the timings are the same everywhere though. HTH.
    Enjoy.
Massive thanks to all who contribute on the MSE forums, especially on grabbit and competition boards
  • Has anyone still not got their Leeds tickets?
  • Has anyone still not got their Leeds tickets?

My Saturday tickets arrived today at 12:55pm. Have you still not had yours then? What day are you going?
  • I have tickets for Saturday but I havent been to Roundhay Park before - has anybody been before? and could they give advice on car parking close to the event but not too close as to get stuck in a traffic jam at the end :p

I live near Leeds and this is the council statement.

I personaly would not take a car, as a lot of the roads are being closed from 10am to 3am, and highways said the cars will be held back until the buses and pedestians have left.

If you are coming by train, come out of the station, turn right and go under the railway bridge (called the dark arches) as soon as you emerge into daylight, turn left, there will be special coaches laid on to take you to the concert £4 return and £3 single. Thats what I will be doing.

    Metro statement.
To get from the city centre to Roundhay Park, we recommend that you travel on one of the specially-provided frequent-service shuttle buses, from Sovereign Street (near Leeds Rail Station) or Stand 1 in Leeds City Bus Station. The fares for the shuttle bus are £4 return or £3 single. The service will operate between 11am and the end of the concert.
