Thanks Determined New MS...and yes a fully fledged bloke. didn't realise I was outnumbered in the gender stakes, but it reads as though you are all working so hard.
What is dd and scan party..am I missing something
My wife has had her moments when shopping, spending money we did not have and was really difficult for her to cope with the fact we are struggling, but the whole having no money situation has really made us much stronger, that is not to say we have not had our moments..arguing, crying, being really cheesed off.
It is only now that we realise that we are brilliant when the chips are down, and yes we can still get fed up but we understand each other more now.
Some of you guys seem to be holding it together really well and you should be proud that, your OHs should recognise what you are acheiving, but blokes can be slow on the uptake sometimes, but those worth their salt will come around eventually.
Rachelmk..hope you get better soon and your determination will win through and you will get that job you want.0 -

Hi guys,
Getting back on the small things party bus now that I've got work out of the way... (Got a quiet telling off for a data security breach today
so hoping no more gets said about that come monday...eek.)
Uh (((determined new ms))) I hope your daughter comes round soon.
You really have helped her loads recently. You're a star!
Tonight I'm planning on:
- Pamper session - OH is at the pub so I'm heading for the bath with a good book and a wee [STRIKE]vino[/STRIKE] babycham that's been in the fridge since Xmas - there goes all that good work of keeping the shower on 8, I hear you cry! Ah well, cheaper than beer...
- Getting a pizza later with a voucher - £5 each with a penny left over for the penny jar...and you know how I love putting them in there! (Saddo that I am;))
- Updating my spending diary - £8 - a cook book for me (I'll sell on later) and for my sister's christmas (I have officially started my stash:cool:)
- Checked pigsback and points still haven't been credited - they said 'end of the week'...I wonder if that's a Saturday/Sunday for them. Hmmm.
- No change on ebay sales but I wait with baited breath for them closing on Sunday
I also resisted the shops when walking home from work.
Fayjmck - what's this business about swapping electricity co. and then swapping back?! Double quidco??? Sounds fab!
Welcome to the new posters!

Hi all
So glad it's the weekend at last, it seems to have taken a long time to come around this week! Am now enjoying catching up with the thread while everyone else has gone out...hooray, I love having the house to myself occasionally
.
Good to see some new posters, welcome
.
Well in answer the tell all question, I'm 43, eeek!, with 3 kidlets from 13 to 18. Can't believe I've got to be that age, in my head I'm still about 23, or even 13 sometimes :rotfl:.
Haven't had a particularly MSE sort of day, and don't think it'll improve as the evening wears on as can't be bothered tonight. Will get back on the wagon tomorrow though

No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!
