I have had both this book and also her new Christmas book from the library, and enjoyed reading both of them but didn't really learn anything from them. More what I would call 'flick through' books.0

When I search for that book I get the URL below
 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Home-Comforts-Science-Keeping-House/dp/0304356247
Slightly different to your URL. If the ref=sr_1_2 in your link your referral ID? And do you get money if anyone buys it through your link?0

I learned how to fold towels from Anthea's programme, unfortunately I still don't ever get the hoover or duster out. But I have lovely towels....

Thats funny I fold everything now like towels, teatowels, pillow slips and flat sheets like she did on the show. I have tried the folding t shirt trick but cant get that right.Jennifer_Jane wrote: »I learned how to fold towels from Anthea's programme, unfortunately I still don't ever get the hoover or duster out. I've got all three ('How To Be The Perfect Housewife'; 'Entertain In Style'; and the latest 'The Perfect Christmas').
I collect housekeeping books, what can I say?
The best housekeeping book on the market is Cheryl Mendelson's Home Comfort, which I prefer over the Anthea books.
However, the Anthea Turner: Perfect Housewife DVDs are great motivational pieces that keep you moving while cleaning....
Okay, I have them as well.
This is my first post - so please be kind!:hello:
 Kind regards.:hello:0

Ha! Yes I do that too - oh, I'm a disciple, practically...
Now where is that hoover, I'm sure I left it somewhere around.0

No not at all! I must have a cookie or something I didn't know about. I'll change my link to the 'clean' one. Sorry about that.
In any case, whoever's it is won't earn from amazon market place, I don't think.0

Thanks for the advice everyone. I think I may take a look at it in the library first. I already have the Kim and Aggie books but I like Anthea's approach better I think, from the TV show anyway.I'm so sorry if you were enjoying this thread and mine is the last post!!
I seem to have a nasty habit of killing threads! 0 0

As this has fallen from the front page of Old Style, I'll add it to the existing Perfect Housewife thread, where the book has some more discussion
