I watched it in bed last night and have been doing the t-shirt folding (I am a home ironer so it helps ;))

Think I might pop myself off down to au naturel and get a load of baskets to hide all my clutter, fed up of it now

I was a bit miffed last night as I sat down at 7:50pm ready for an 8pm start, there was a clap of thunder, plenty of lightening then the electricity went off until 8:45pm - oh phoooey!! Obviously someone up there isn't big on keeping things clean and tidy.
Thanks for all the reminders of when the repeats are, I need them!:rotfl:

T shirt folding technique takes a bit of time to get your head round then i suddenly 'got it@.. however the problem is that you cannot extract a tee shirt from the middle of a pile when they are folded like this
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!
  • On a couple of occaisions I have lost socks knowing I put them in the washer together wondering where on earth they had got to. Then when putting clean bedding on the bed, abracadabra, there they were inside duvet cover in the corners were they had got stuck whilst being washed. Mystery solved!
That's happened to me a few times. Worse, one time I was in a hurry getting ready and put on a pair of jogging trousers straight from the tumble dryer, and later realised there was a pair of very skimpy nylon knickers which had been clinging to the inside of the leg, and decided to try to escape! I don't think anyone saw me hastily grabbing them and putting them in my pocket.
Washing machines can actually eat socks, though. Repairers sometimes find rotting socks lurking in the guts of the machine.

I could see bits spilling out of them all through the programme & couldn’t take it any more.

Kim & Aggie always had that effect on me. I'd start off watching the programme, thinking smugly that no matter how lazy I am, no way, EVER, would my house look anywhere near as bad as the one on the TV. About 10 mins from the end, I'd start noticing the spiders' webs in the corners, then the dust on the mirrors, the smears on the windows, the dust bunnies in the corners ... . I usually ended up having to force myself to watch to the end, before rushing out to get dusters, cloths, VC, etc!
