Yeah - going to pick up another test in a day or so just to see how the line's progressing and possibly swallow my pride and buy an expensive one (been trying so long you tend to become a bit of a skinflint with buying tests after a while). Trying to get thru to our docs to get an appointment but so far no success today.

    Hello dizziblonde,
I've got to say, you sound as if you're pregnant.
Having said that, in your position I think I'd wait AT LEAST a week and see what happens.
These wretched tests can be such a huge wind-up...I always advise anyone who's trying to conceive to step away from the tests until they're at least a week overdue.
The first time I was pregnant, I didn't even realise until I was six weeks. Used a home test to confirm, then went to GP.
By pregnancy no 4 (no 3 ended in very early miscarriage), I'd taken against the tests completely - only did a test at my (then) OH's insistence at about 7 weeks.
This actually helped me to worry less and feel more in control - don't know if you might find the same??

The most MSE pregnancy test is to do nothing and see what happens.

Anyway after all that philosophy, congratulations and try to chill.
You deserve a break after 3 years of trying to conceive!

    Very best wishes
    MsB x

If you take pictures of the tests and invert the colours you can see better what is an evap line and what is a chemical reaction line.
