Annoyed with Vodaphone!!

For the first in prob 10years as a Vodaphone customer they have really hacked me off!!!
I got a new phone last June and it's been great, except that my contract has unlimited internet access and I just don't use it!! I thought I would, but I don't. So I thought I'd just change my contract.....like I've done several times in the past. Except that I can't!!! Apparently I'm on a "new type" of contract that means I can only add to it........ When I pointed out that my phone is hardly new the bloke blustered about a bit and just kept repeating himself........
Far from impressed with the excuse, and lack of explanation - even less impressed at having to pay for a service I'm not using.......
Is there anything I can do except wait until the contract expires???
vodafone like people like you, you help contribute to the 97% that never go over the 500mb limit....
i'd imagine that a very high percentage of the 97% are people just like you who took out a contract with it bundled in but have no intention of using it.
I'm in a similar boat, i very rarely send a text message so have no use for the unlimited (3000) texts included in my bundle, i asked if i could have a discount if i had the texts removed when i was negotiating my contract..... and was told no as it was part of the tarrif... and of course now i am one of the vodafone customers who never goes anywhere near sending over the unlimited amount.TESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0 -
Im the same. I rarely send text messages but needed the high minutes allowance and I do have the internet allowance as well but although I am a heavy user I dont get anywhere near it! It would be better if I could say have something like 100 texts and more minutes or something.*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200

Hi Claireac,
Although I can't see which tariff you are on at the moment, I would be more than happy to take a further look into this for you and see if there is anything that we can do for you.
