Major pregnancy/mystery shopping/hair dye dilema!
Comments
-
I know loads of people who have dyed their hair whilst pregnant, a few have said it tingles a bit more so that's probably hormones making your scalp sensitive, it's like women who are on their periods or pre menstrual are advised to wait until waxing their legs as they are more sensitive! Hormones have a lot to answer for!!Kate

Thanks for all of your replies. I spoke to a midwife and Doctor here in the health centre where I work and I decided to go and I had a great time. The level of service that I got for my £200 was fantastic and I felt very spoilt. I just had some natural highlights so no contact with skin. The hair looks good and I think the layers are better that what I normally get but alas I'll be back to my £15 cut and blow dry in 2 months time!
Still, it was nice while it lasted!Me debt free thanks to MSE :T0 -
I think the only that could happen in a day or so is that you might have an allergic reaction to the dye!
Ive never dyes my hair, but some shampoos i usually use have given me a reaction.
If it happens grin and bear it and stock up on calamine lotion

I think I really have heard it all now!
I was having my highlights done the night before having my baby! I was meant to ne there at 5pm the night before the c-section and I had to phone up and say I was gonna be late cos I was still sat there with a head full of foils!
You're having a baby not a liver transplant, what do you suggest that it travels up your hair folicles, absorbed into your scalp, trickle through your brain and down the oesophegus ready to penetrate the gut and be absorbed by the placenta, in which your unborn baby can feed off amonia? ha ha ha0 -
