Just a quick note to those trying out the new look forum
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2455899
Of course we're still tweaking it (live so things change) but the overall look is there. So now use the links in the post above to change back - and see how wierd it feels.
For those who were unsure at first (and others) let me know how it feels now. Personally I find it bizarre to use the old look now (im three-ish weeks in)

Three weeks in?...........you need to get out more:p0

I logged in at work today and couldn't understand what was wrong until I realised I was on the old forum, felt very strange and I didn't like it.0
-
I prefer this new look now - its much better. This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -
Jokeing aside, i have not switched back yet.......
I still think the black text on white is too harsh (but that is the same as the old forum) Dont forget, as moneysavers, its lights or computer, not both, so its realy bright! and i still hate green, but that's just me:D
Still think the post date should be shifted to the right too;)
But besides that it is a vast improvement0 -
I like the new look...apart from the masthead which is still old look. (The red text on green is unattractive, and the typeface isn't crisp enough).0

Theres no way I can go back, its like downgrading:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

The old board does look very odd now.....
However, one thing that is starting to annoy me is that the amount of "white space" is a bit overwhelming.
Really really looks too bright if reading for any length of time.

Hi
Advise please. The 'Thank you' button reappears if I go back to that thread, which means if I don't recognise the comp I try and enter again or possibly invalidate my entry. Never used to happen only since the 'new' look. Which I do like by the way.0 -

I'm impressed with the quote shading, it really helps make it stand out within a post:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A
