Gordon Ramsay would say something like 'if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.' It's normal for people on a public forum to express different views, just don't take it personally. :)

Already said I was being a little sensitive, no need to rub it in. But if that seriously is your view that people who post deals to let others know should be prepared for sarky comments, it does beg the question, why bother?
Comments with a factual grounding about the product or deal, no problem. Humerous comments no problem. Comments that are just sarcastic are of no benefit to anyone.
    There thats my different view.

oohh dear. now that made me laugh......

oh you ve edited it after I ve replied. Bad Form.

As I have mentioned thae product is for sale on Amazon for £70 and Argos for £114. As I have mentioned factual comments, no problem . If you have evidence that the product is rubbish fine, do you?

The forum guidelines are quite a good read you know, if you have a few spare minutes.

I appreciate both positive and negative comments on a PRODUCT not aimed at a poster.

Ive decided against this as i still feel i will end up spending to much time cleaning it, you have no idea how messy my Df can be, or it might never get used as its to much hassle to clean and will clutter my work tops up which is another pet hate of mine.

But thanks for posting it OP - great find. Its a nice looking piece of kit.

I need a new kettle though if you spot any bargains whilst your on your travels.

Yet another over sensitive poster, get a bloody life! That's my different view! people are now scared to voice any negative opinion on here because the "nice police" will be out in force. If an item is rubbish let's be able to say it's rubbish - as for rrp's the only things that are sold at full rrp these days are product's that are in huge demand everything else is sold below it's rrp by everybody and it's just used as a marketing tool by the product's manufacturers. who will quote an artificially high rrp to allow retailers to supposedly sell it at a bargain price.

The OP isn't being over sensitive but the manners of some of the people responding to posts on this forum leave a lot to be desired. You can comment negatively on the product as much as you wish, just no need to be rude to the OP with it.

If you want grabbits posted, respect the finds people post or they won't bother sharing in future. Seemples!

Nice find poor-but-happy, thank you - and thank you especially for taking the time to research and post both links.
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

It looks very similar to my De Longhi one (except silver) that I got in some bargain deal on here or other.

That was around the same price, and is a nice (basic) coffee maker.

Good price and looks quite nice too.
I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing! ;)

I agree that sarcastic remarks against you are unacceptable. On the other hand, sarcastic remarks about the product are acceptable IMHO. Here you have a guy who is a good cook, but who has stuck his name on a coffee maker which I very much doubt he designed. I agree that it looks like a reasonable buy at £30, but the RRP is crazy. What next, Gordon Ramsay unleaded at your local garage, sold at 5 times the price of other unleaded? The scary thing is that people might buy it!
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
