How easy are these things to use and clean, seems a lot of hassle to make a cup of coffee, DF's a massive coffee drinker and it might make a good fathers day gift but i would be left with the task of keeping it clean!

I think coffee makers are very easy to clean, easier than cafetieres in my opinion. Just put the granules in the composter and then rinse the filter and clean the jug - easy!

    too many comps..not enough time!

Just a normal filter machine any old 10 quid machine will do the job just as well. Does NOT do any latte or capuccino or anything nice mmmmmmmmm yummy

Waste of money really probably even at £30 cheaper ones in argos that will do exactly the same thing :)

    Oops! Thanks
  • I ve binned loads of cheap ones, for various reasons. So I dont mind paying £30 for one which looks smart on the worktop and hopefully wont leak etc. I also wanted one with a timer so it should suit me fine. The cheapest on Amazon is £70ish.

Seems like an ordinary filter coffee machine, would really love a reasonably priced one that froths the milk. Any suggestions anyone?

Gordon Ramsay is lending his name to all sorts of things these days.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

I didn't think Gordon Ramsay would put his name to stuff like that..
