People still have broadband accounts with usage limits?!??!0 -
Not me, but yes some people who refuse to pay anything for their broadband often have ridiculous usage caps.0

I managed to purchase Avatar for 0p just before 12.30 and have just finished downloading it to me laptop.

Blinking Blinkbox is driving me mad. First it says it recognised my e-mail so I tried my old one and it recognised that too and wouldn't accept either. How can it when I've never even heard of Blinkbox?? Then I tried my daughter's e-mail which it liked and said would send an e mail to that address so I could use a link to enter site. Well I'm still waiting ................ 2 hours later. By the time I get the "blinkin" e-mail the 15,000 freebies will be gone ......... grrrr:mad::mad: Anyone else had problems??:mad:0

At 12.32 it was slow and I got the error messages even though it had worked. By 1pm it seemed to be running smoothly.
We have a few accounts with them already , and I did have a problem with one email address - it sent me through a new password (so it must have been the right registered email address), but even when I put in the new password it said not recognised, tried another new password but still no luck so abandoned that account as it didn't have any films on it already anyway. Think we now have all the films we want that we don't already have own DVD except for one as it wasn't available to watch online, but thanks to the posters who have said we won't have to use blinkboxes software, I will tell OH so he can download it onto his PC if he still wants it (still got credit in one account for it).

The site is bizarre. I went through the registration no problems, got the purchase page and it kept failing. I then clicked on home and tried to go through again and it told me I'd already purchased. I think clicked on download and Avatar was downloading at a ridiculously high rate. 1.9GB in a few minutes - for free! Brilliant stuff!

NOTE: It's only one item up to a maximum value of £10. There's no basket to fill with films then spend your voucher... so you may wish to select a product near to the £10 value.
Refresh the page if there are glitches caused by the site being overloaded with customers.
Keep smiling, Wilf.
I noticed that wording in Martins email and thought there could be a few disappointed people out there if they choose a cheap film expecting to be able to choose several!
I found refreshing didn't work as well as opening a new tab/window and checking your video library to see if it had gone in.A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -
I just got round to playing the download to see if it worked and I noticed that you need to update the Digital Rights Media thingy.
It's a bit of a pain, but I ended up downloading a new version of Windows Media player (v11) and then running the film again, downloading the DRM through the Media Player, logging into the Blinkbox account through the pop up and THEN playing the film! Phew!
Still, can't complain for free!Signature removed by MSE Forum Team.0 -

You dont need to wait for the email, just login and choose your film, enter the code and you are done0 -
Anyone know if you can get subtitles on any of these titles??
I have looked around the site and no mention of any.
Anyone know if their downloads gave you a choice of subs??0
