I'd never even heard of Blinkbox before.
Lots of films available to stream for free, so will start using those.
My lappy connects to tv via HDMI which means I can still watch on full screen.

Won't downloading these films use up all your MB monthly allowance from your internet service provider? Bit dubious as to whether or not to try.

Notable that you can only play the downloads on their software, so you cannot transfer it to an ipod or similar.
Not that I really care - figure that Avatar for £0.00 is a bargain and means I can delete my slightly dubiously obtained copy.

You dont have to download it using their software. I downloaded it via the link where it said 'advanced users click here' and its opens through WMP. I didnt need to download their software at all. But, when i tried to play it (to test that it downloaded OK) it did say something about only being able to play it on this computer, so pressumably you still wont be able to transfer it to your ipod

I streamed mine, starts immediately (no waiting for the download).

The download files are Windows Media, so they won't play on your iPod. They have DRM on them, but are fine for watching on your PC or connecting to your PC to your TV.

NOTE: It's only one item up to a maximum value of £10. There's no basket to fill with films then spend your voucher... so you may wish to select a product near to the £10 value.

Refresh the page if there are glitches caused by the site being overloaded with customers.

It depends on what your usage limit on your broadband account is. An average length streamed movie will be about 400mb, so if you have a 2gb cap, you could stream 5 movies a month.
